Check out the new features that are designed to streamline your testing processes and improve your overall experience.

AI autocomplete feature

This new AI-powered feature simplifies and speeds up the creation of test cases by enabling autocompletion for partially filled ones using generative AI.

To use this feature, the customer must start the test case creation process and enter a case title. Once the title is entered, the Autocomplete button becomes active.

Clicking the button will automatically populate all empty test case fields. To maintain high data quality, Zebrunner will gather surrounding context by inspecting cases in the same or parent suites. Additionally, the writing style in populated fields will match other cases in the suite.

The feature is now in closed beta and will be available to everyone in early August.

Zebrunner Playwright reporting agent for JavaScript

We added a new agent for automation that captures information from the runtime of tests and reports it to Zebrunner.

Playwright is a library that helps to write tests and provides additional benefits. It allows you to test simultaneously in several browsers and speeds up the testing process.

To install Zebrunner Playwright reporting agent for JavaScript, the user needs to add it as a dependency to the testing project and provide the basic configuration (hostname, access token, and project key).

The Zebrunner Playwright reporting agent enables real-time reporting and offers functionality for deeper integration. Users can add labels to the launch and to every test. They can also upload their artifacts, add links to artifacts, include their logs, and more.

For more information follow the link to Zebrunner Playwright reporting documentation.

Advanced test case filtration

We also added the ability to filter test cases based on their description, pre-conditions, and post-conditions.

Improved integrations

We’ve moved Integrations to the global settings, where users can find them in a specific section. Also, integrations are now configured clearly. Users can see on one screen what is configured and where.

Inside the Integration section, users see a set of filters for filtering integrations by category, as well as all the tools for integrations.
