Zebrunner Selenium Grid#
Zebrunner Selenium Grid is a scalable managed Selenium Hub that comes bundled as part of the reporting and analytics offering. It helps in automated browser compatibility testing by providing access to the latest versions of most popular modern browsers allowing to execute tests with fast speed in up to 1000 parallel threads.
Integration with Zebrunner Selenium Grid allows users to:
- Launch tests against Selenium Grid environment via Zebrunner UI
- View remote web driver session artifacts (such as video recording, session log and metadata) on test results page
- Have access to Hub credentials in Quick Access pane on test runs view
Note: this is a global integration that is shared among all projects within workspace.
- Your Zebrunner account should have Administrator role within a project in order to access configuration view.
There are no special steps required in order to configure integration with Zebrunner Selenium Grid. It is configured and enabled out of the box. It can be enabled or disabled if needed by clicking power icon in the upper right corner.
Launching tests against Zebrunner Selenium Grid#
With Zebrunner Selenium Grid enabled it is now possible to launch tests against its scalable cloud Selenium hub. In order to do so, go to Launcher view on test runs page, select a suite you want to launch and pick Zebrunner from the list of available testing platforms. It is possible to configure capabilities from there as well. Web driver session artifacts will be accessible on test details view automatically. Additionally, Zebrunner Selenium Grid hub credentials will be seen to project members with role of Engineer (or higher) in Quick Hub Access pane.
Quota and utilization tracking#
Every plan comes with certain amount of execution quota included. Please refer to your plan details for more info.
You can keep track of utilization by accessing your organization billing page. You must be a workspace administrator in order to have access to this page.
Regenerating access key#
Regenerating access key may become necessary if due to some reason it was leaked. Regeneration is available to workspace administrator and project members, having role of Administrator only. Note: since this is global integration, all projects share the same hub account, meaning that all system users may be impacted by this action.
